Online pharmacies that ship internationally tend to be allergic to taxes. Most don’t have a GST number. Most don’t file returns. Most operate in an in-between zone where nobody’s quite sure who they are.
We’re not in that zone. We’re a registered, tax-paying Indian business, and every order you place leaves a paper trail in the Indian government’s own systems.
Our GST Registration
Pharmabridge International, operating under Mahi Medicos, is registered with the Goods and Services Tax authority of India under GSTIN 09GADPM5967H1Z4.
That number isn’t arbitrary. It breaks down like this:
- 09 โ state code for Uttar Pradesh, where we’re physically located
- GADPM5967H โ our PAN (Permanent Account Number, our business tax ID)
- 1Z4 โ entity type and check code
Every quarter we file GST returns that report our sales, purchases, and tax liability. The government has a complete record of how much medication moved through our operation in any given period.
What This Adds Up To
Being GST-registered isn’t just about paying taxes. It’s about being part of a verifiable economic record:
- Every transaction we process generates a tax invoice with our GSTIN on it
- Those invoices show up in our GST returns the following month
- Our suppliers (the manufacturers) also have GSTINs, and the system cross-checks our purchases against their sales
- Any discrepancy triggers an audit
So when we say “we bought 5,000 tablets from Centurion Laboratories last month,” it’s not a claim โ it’s a number that exists in the GST Network’s database, matched against Centurion’s own filing.
Verifying The GST Number
You can verify our GSTIN any time on the official Indian GST portal:
- Go to gst.gov.in
- Click “Search Taxpayer” โ “Search by GSTIN/UIN”
- Enter
09GADPM5967H1Z4 - It’ll return our registered legal name, business address, registration date, and status
If we’d shut down, been delisted, or had our registration cancelled, the portal would say so. As of this writing, it confirms us as an active, compliant taxpayer.
Why This Matters For An Online Order
A registered, tax-paying business has obligations a fly-by-night operation doesn’t:
- We can’t disappear and re-emerge under a new name without anyone noticing. Our PAN is permanent. Our GST is tied to it. Our company filings track back to real people.
- We can’t dispute customer transactions and hide. Banking, payment processing, and customer disputes all happen against our registered identity.
- We’re inspectable. Any regulator โ drug authority, tax authority, customs โ can show up and demand records that match our filings.
Compare that to the alternative: an offshore website with no company name, no tax registration, no banking transparency. The vast majority of “online pharmacies” you’ll find on Google are exactly that.
Other Government Registrations On File
The GST is one piece. Our complete government registration includes:
| Registration | Identifier |
|---|---|
| PAN (Income Tax) | GADPM5967H |
| GST | 09GADPM5967H1Z4 |
| IEC (Foreign Trade) | GADPM5967H |
| Drug License | RLF21DL2023000976 |
Each one is independently verifiable through the issuing authority’s portal.
